1. Introduction
Welcome to GOAT — AI Sports Card Scanner(“App”, previously released as “Sabio”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and GOAT (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) concerning your access to and use of our App, website, services, features, content, and technologies.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.
These Terms supplement Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”). In the event of any conflict, the EULA controls for matters relating to App distribution and Apple’s role.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required by your jurisdiction) to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account or sign in with Apple. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your information
- Safeguard your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activities under your account.
4. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code
- Attempt to reverse engineer the App
- Exploit the App for unauthorized purposes
6. Intellectual Property
All content and intellectual property rights in the App and this website, including but not limited to software, code, logos, trademarks, and design elements, are owned by GOAT or its licensors. Card brands, player names, and logos remain the property of their respective owners. GOAT claims no affiliation with or endorsement by any card manufacturer or sports league.
7. Payment and Subscriptions
If the App includes paid features or subscriptions:
- Payments are processed via Apple’s StoreKit, with subscription state managed by our third-party provider
- Subscription title, length, price, and renewal details are specified in the App at the point of purchase
- Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase
Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
Managing and Cancelling Subscriptions. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple Account settings: open Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
Free Trial. Some subscriptions may include a trial period, during which you can experience premium features at no cost or at a reduced price (“Trial”). A subscription with a Trial period will automatically renew to a paid subscription at the price shown in the App unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the Trial expires. Any unused portion of a free Trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
8. User Content
8.1 Responsibility for Content
Card photographs, notes, and any other content you create in the App (“User Content”) are your responsibility. You retain ownership and grant GOAT a limited license to process User Content solely to provide identification, valuation, cloud sync, and the share links you choose to create.
8.2 Prohibited Content
You agree not to upload any illegal, offensive, infringing, misleading, or inappropriate content. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, remove, or restrict content at our discretion.
8.3 Shared Pages
Links you create from the App publish a snapshot of the selected cards to a public page on this website. Anyone with the link can view it until you revoke it in the App. Content on a shared page can be reported at goat.bingo/report, and we may disable a link that violates these Terms.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (such as Apple, RevenueCat, Superwall, and AI vision providers). We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or privacy practices.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Card identifications and price estimates are informational only and should not be relied on for trading or insurance purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GOAT and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of your country of residence to the extent required by consumer-protection law, and otherwise by the laws applicable to Apple’s standard EULA.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Effective Date” and/or providing notice through the App.
